Things to do in each place, and amount of time at each place.

Post 2.

July 19, Sun: Leave Collegedale, TN for Newark Valley, NY (14 hrs, 800 mi) -- Leave early, and hopefully arrive that same night. If at all possible.

July 20, Mon: Stay at Gpa Raney's house, spend time there.

July 21, Tues: Stay at Gpa Raney's house

July 22, Wed: Leave for Union Springs, NY (1 hr 40 min, 57 mi) -- Since it won't take long, we can leave whenever we feel is good. What do you think?

July 23, Thurs: Stay in Union Springs, w/ the Bishops (pending permission) and spend time in town, visiting w/ people/sight-seeing, going to Pete's Treats etc. ;)

July 24, Fri: Stay in Union Springs some more, then leave for Aunt Janice's Friday night? (to Aunt Janice's: 4 hrs 40 min)

July 25, Sat: Go to church, visit w/ Aunt Janice, etc.

July 26, Sun: Visit w/ Aunt Janice some more...

July 27, Mon: Leave for Freeport, ME (6 hrs 30 min, 230 mi)

July 28, Tues: Enjoy spending time and sight seeing in Freeport...

July 29, Wed: Sight seeing

July 30, Thurs: ...

July 31, Fri: ...

August 1st, Sat: After church, we leave for home. Head back to TN. (19 hrs, 1100 mi) Obviously, stay in a hotel for the night.

August 2, Sun: Continue driving, arrive in TN by nightfall, depending on how far we got Sat night.

Suggestions, amendments, please!

ROBBY COMMENTED: Aunt Janice isn't Adventist... hence we wouldn't be going to church with her on Sabbath... I still am of the opinion that we should stay in a hotel in Union springs, just because I wouldn't feel quite right about putting them out... I do, however, believe strongly, that we should definetly go to Pete's!

AMANDA COMMENTED: Aunt Janice isn't Adventist? Well, is there a church nearby to which we could go? And if not... is there a park nearby that we could go and have our own little "church service"? What other suggestions do you have in this regard?

Also... yes, Cayla & Krissy what are your thoughts on staying in a hotel in Union Springs? It would cost more, but I think you're right... we can't expect them to be able to put us up.

  1. ok... if we say we are going to be in town, the Bishops might ask us to spend the night... if they don't then we should stay in a hotel.

  2. I still think we should just spend the night in a hotel. Pastor Londa is on a wierd diet (pond scum and gross soups) and I don't want to eat that, but at the same time I don't want them to feel that they need to make us special food.
