How to ask The Parents
The time is upon us that we must lay it all down on the line for this great cause of travel. We must risk our lives and our plans for this great cause which is summer vacation. How are we going to get permission? When do we ask them? How? Any and all imput would be greatly, greatly appreciated. More than appreciated. Required. Anything you can think is needed. Thank you.

well amanda already asked mom, and she said yes, and that we could use her car, but it would be kinda tight... but it gets good gas millage and everything! so yeah... talk to me poeples!

ReplyDeleteI didn't say anything yet. I asked Mom, yes, but told her not to say anything YET as we're working out how to present it to the parents. So not to worry.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I wanted to present it to my parents (on behalf of Krissy), either over the phone or when I get back, in person. I would prefer in person, but that would mean waiting until May to ask them. What do you think?
I'm not sure we need a power point... though if you'd like to make one, that's fine. Or I can help make it... whichever. Though I'm not sure it needs to be THAT detailed. Just a written (or visual) plan of how long we're going, where we're going... who we're staying w/... and... the fact that they can reach us at any time via cell phone, we will have a safe and reliable car to drive, etc.
ReplyDeleteWhich brings me to another point. Mom's car is kinda small... are we all agreeable to that? Or do we have any other ideas as I'm not sure my car is up to the trip.
